One of the primary missions of the American Legion is to make sure that our veterans and their families receive the support and recognition they deserve.
Every member of our organization is a wartime veteran. We know how important it is to receive the support of our fellow citizens during and after our military service.
We have Sons of the American Legion for male descendants, and the Auxiliary for spouses (husbands, too!) and female descendants, who also provide support for veterans and our local community.
We are also dedicated to a vast array of local community service projects, such as sponsoring students to attend Boys and Girls State, Junior Law Cadets, Scholarships, and school supply donations, just to name a few.
School Supplies
The Riders will be collecting school supplies on Saturday, October 12, from 7am - 10am. These supplies will support our 10 Andrew County schools. Please bring by some school supplies and stay for breakfast! A listing of school supplies needed will be provided soon.
